Small Steps
The small steps you take will ultimately bring you great fortune.
Aren’t fortune cookies the most interesting thing? Those little cookie papers have a knack for having a knee slapper of a “fortune” right when you need a laugh or something inspiring just when you need a pick me up.
This one came at a perfect time. I’m just getting this blog going and taking all the small steps to make it successful: building the site, writing stuff I hope you enjoy, networking with other bloggers, learning how to read the background stats, etc. All small things that need to be learned, executed and kept up. All small steps towards a big dream. I’m getting there =)
As for the great fortune… I’m not looking to become a millionaire with this little blog (but it’d be nice). I think my great fortune in this adventure will be connecting with you, the reader. Providing you with a place to escape to, someplace you know that someone else gets it. My fortune will be inspiring others and letting them inspire me. Showing you that you should believe in something, anything, and follow it. Creating things, all sorts of things: relationships, crafts, possible a sofa table (boyfriend is NOT looking forward to that one).
