Stuck To You Father’s Day Card
Hello there =)
Father’s Day is right around the corner and nothing says “I love you dad” like a homemade card. I wanted to keep this card simple, sweet with a little bit of awww factor and a touch of how dad would do it. Shall we?
Supplies Used
- DCWV paper in The Weekend Neutrals
- Sheet of blue vellum
- Changito Knee Hugger stamp by Stampendous!
- StazOn black ink
- Adhesive
- Corner rounders (not shown)
I selected a nice wood grain piece of card stock from the pack. Cut to the length and width of a spare envelope I had laying around. Rounded the corners because all paper seems to be nicer rounded. Then I folded it in half.

I cut a piece of the blue vellum to fit in the center of my card. Rounded the corners then got to stamping.
I love this monkey stamp. I bought a few different ones from the same line just because. Finally getting to use them =) I did a few practice stamps on scrap paper before I ventured on to my vellum. Do you practice stamp?
Just about done! Now to affix the vellum to the cardstock. Normally I use a tape runner to adhere everything, but with vellum you would see it and it would look awful. Just awful.
What would dad do…?
DUCT TAPE!
Duct tape fixes everything ;) This card was no exception; it was the perfect tape to get the job done. This is one homemade card dad will appreciate and love! All that’s left to do is add a message inside and sign it.
Did you make cards for Father’s Day? I’d love to see them!
these are adorable!! love it! pinning :)
Thank you Amanda =)
