Hello there =)
I’v been enjoying this 52 List series. I can’t wait to have a fun little keepsake to look back on. Which brings us to list 5, Beside My Bed. The space next to my bed seems to be a little catch all for things I need, things that make be feel secure or things I may need.
I found a cute off white and olive-ish green bowl on clearance at Bed Bath and Beyond a few years ago perfect for collecting randoms next to the bed. Waddles the penguin, lotion and chapstick live here.
Hello, my name is Sarah and my sleep number is 50. Invested in a Sleep Number bed this past summer and so far I’m loving it. I can have a “new” bed every night just by changing the mattress firmness.
A trip to Pittsburgh a couple years ago led me to this pretty rock slice in the gift shop of the science museum. I thought about using it as a coaster in the living room, but I set it down on my nightstand and there it stays.
“Nothing is written in stone,” says the rock, made of stone, with writing in it… Hilarious. The wine cork is from the first bottle of my favorite wine, Chateau Ste Michelle Riesling.
I found the notebook with the Dr. Seuss line at Office Max. I intended on journaling nightly or writing dreams in it when I woke up. Again, another item that just sits there. The pen, I created on Vistaprints =) It’s one of my favorites.
Not pictured is the basket I keep on the floor next to the bed containing some of my favorite childhood stuffed animals, my baby blanket, a heart shaped pillow (for my knees) and solo socks waiting to be matched with their pairs.

This is so cute. Where do you live? I live near PGH and we LOVE the science center!! So much fun there! Anyway beside my bed is my phone charger, my kindle that i read before bed, my phone (its my alarm clock lol), a bottle of water, a picture from when we took our first trip, and a giraffe!. My room is decorated as a safari theme! Thanks for linking up this series at Totally Terrific Tuesday! I cant wait to see what you did this week!

Hi Jessica! I’m in Buffalo, NY. If you’re within a 6-8 hour drive from me you’re a vacation destination potential =) The science center was tons of fun!
Love the rock and the pen. I’ve had good luck with Vistaprint too. By my bed is my nightstand with a lamp, tissues, books, scriptures, random papers, a drawing from my daughter, lotion, and little yarn weaves my girls did in elementary school. On the floor is a fire extinguisher and an extra pillow and blanket for when a child needs to sleep by my bed in the middle of the night. That was a fun exercise!

Gee, now I think I need a fire extinguisher beside my bed… I did forget to include a basket full of old purses and pedicure supplies lives beside my bed too. Thanks for following on G+!
I have lots of goodies by my bed. I have a few books, my 2 Kindles, my phone and charger, a notebook and pen, coaster, and other stray items that find themselves there from time to time. :) Thanks for sharing at Totally Terrific Tuesday!
My kindle used to live next to my bed, or a book, but I haven’t found anything I’m interested in reading as of late
